The Sohrab Sepehri website wasn’t a client project — it was a labor of love. In 2006, driven by a deep admiration for Sohrab’s poetry and art, we launched the first version using PHP Nuke CMS. The site was redesigned in 2009 and again in 2013. In 2017, we began building a fully customized WordPress website with a bespoke theme and original digital paintings created exclusively for the platform.

Creating a visual identity faithful to Sohrab’s spirit was challenging due to limited access to his family and the sensitivity of his legacy. We consulted numerous artists, painters, and experts to shape a site that reflects his personality without contradiction. The redesign took a year to complete and remains one of our most cherished projects.

Notable features include a dedicated wiki for complex terms in Sohrab’s works, an inline footnote system to mimic the experience of reading physical books, and custom-built timelines of his life events and paintings, complete with category and date-range filters.
