How We Transformed Zhinto into a High-Performance, Location-Based FMCG E-Commerce Platform
Solico Holding, with over 30 food industry brands, envisioned a dedicated online platform for easier customer access to its FMCG products. After testing an MVP version, our team was tasked to design and launch the new Zhinto online store.
The challenge? FMCG products with rapidly shifting stock across multiple suppliers in different cities. Zhinto operated in 6 cities with 9 active warehouses, and each product had 9 different stock statuses. We solved this by detecting the customer’s location via browser, confirming their delivery address, and displaying products available in the nearest warehouse — ensuring seamless UX and zero frustration.
We carefully crafted a UX-optimized, fast, and mobile-friendly store tailored for rapid product orders. Within a year, Zhinto’s online sales grew by 6×, and by offering smart related product suggestions, the average order value doubled.
Our team also handled server provisioning, infrastructure setup, and ongoing management on a dedicated server, delivering consistent performance and stability for Zhinto’s growing customer base.
